James would often look out his studio window and admire the Mango tree from afar. What impressed James the most was despite the years of burning sugar cane in close proximity and all the giant cane haul trucks maneuvering around the tree during harvest time, the tree remained unscathed. Finally, one morning, after many months of contemplating his favorite Mango tree, James drove up to the tree and painted all day while listening to the rustling of the wind in the dry sugar cane and the surf down below.
