Gold Tree, Monkeypod Bougainvillea and River Sunrise were custom designed for James' technique and style. According to the Atelier (Printmaker), no other artist had used this innovative process to this extent. It took over six months for the Atelier to create each Embossed Serigraph because of the complexity of the design and the variety of colours in James' palette. The focus was to create a Limited Edition Serigraph that looked like an original painting. Each stroke of paint from the oil was embossed in the Serigraph making it possible for the Serigraph to have texture. Each Embossed Serigraph has 35-40 or more colours.
